Hey guys in this video is going to be how to improve a simple bowl of kibble on a budget. I start by rehydrating the kibble with some boiling water. This reduces the risk of bloat in larger breeds and also allows dogs to absorb the nutrients of the kibble a lot easier. I then add 2 tablespoons of natural greek yogurt. Natural greek yogurt is full of protein and probiotics. This boosts the immune system but also supports the digestive system. You can find this yogurt in most supermarkets for around £1. I then add some freeze dried mill toppers to the kibble. These are usually 99p in pets at home. Freeze dried foods retain more of the nutritional value than any other drying technique. I then add some chia seeds. They are £6.99 for this whole tub but I know you can definitely get them cheaper elsewhere. With the chia seeds you do have to rehydrate them. I just pop them in some boiling water for 10 minutes and then I pop them on the kibble. Chia seeds have so many benefits for dogs. I then pop on some salmon oil which is high in omega 3 and omega 6. Salmon oil is fairly cheap, you can get a big bottle for under £10 at most pet shops. I then add a handful of sprats to the kibble. Sprats support a healthy coat, healthy joints and helps the inflammatory response. I usually buy my sprats in 1kg bags which I will tag some in the tiktok shop that you can get yourself if you did want to get some. I then add some veggies such as my broccoli and carrots. These are high in vitamins and also have antioxidant properties. I then add some frozen blueberries. These are also full of antioxidants and they are very low fat treats so they are amazing to add to any kibble. If you are looking for a more affordable option I would recommend getting frozen blueberries. These are cheaper and they also last a lot longer in the freezer. That is the whole bowl completed. I hope I've given you some ideas of some ingredients you can add to make the bowl a lot more nutritious for your dogs. As you can see Prince really enjoys every part of the bowl. He isn't a fusty boy bless him and he absolutely loves food so this is his favourite time of the day for sure. If you do want to see any kind of video do pop that in the comments below and I will try my best to make it and if you did want more videos like this just let me know.
