I have a *lot* of tea/baking vids in my drafts and idk if anyone is actually interested in them. 😂 I keep putting off editing because these ones seem to take the longest but I might just be a little lazy. Idk. #sencha #lavender #coconut #tea #boba #bubbletea #bobatea #lavendertea #greentea #teabags

I have what feels like about a million draughts and I don't know if you guys actually want to see any of them. But this one starts with a bag of sencha and a bag of lavender. We're going to start with brewing the sencha for 90 seconds at 75 degrees Celsius. And after those 90 seconds are up, we are going to remove that and leave the lavender in for another 10 minutes. And while we wait for that, I just have to share these new tea bags with you guys. I drink large amounts of tea at a time, so I need large bags. These are the bags I have been using. They don't fit quite as much, especially because the seams are larger. So I upgraded to these unbleached paper ones and I love them. They cinch tight, they don't leak any leaves, they're compostable, and as long as you don't stab them with something, nothing comes out. After that 10 minutes is up, we remove the lavender and let it come down to room temperature. And then add a generous amount of brown sugar boba. I like extra boba, so this probably looks like a lot. Because it is. After some ice, I'm going to top this off with a coconut cream froth. I recently learned that you can foam this up and I absolutely love it. There's really no benefit to foaming it up, but I think it looks pretty and you know what? That's what I want today. I just want a pretty drink. I'm not sure if this can be steamed, but it works pretty well in my mini French press thing that's specifically made for frothing up milks or creams. And I love just watching it drip down in there and make all those pretty swirls. I love it. I'm so excited that lavender is finally gaining popularity in drinks like this. Because I've been drinking lavender in my tea and coffee for about 10 years now and it is just the best.
