Welcome to our second tutorial on our advanced line of Photoshop tutorials. This time, we'll discuss features similar to curves but with a more individual approach: brightness, contrast, and exposure adjustments. To begin, open your image and navigate to Image > Adjustments to access Brightness and Contrast under the Adjustments tab. Alternatively, create a new adjustment layer by selecting Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Brightness and Contrast. This allows for non-destructive editing. Within the adjustment layer, adjust the brightness and contrast sliders to lighten or darken the image and enhance colors. Additionally, we'll explore exposure adjustments by adding a new adjustment layer using Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Exposure. This layer provides sliders for exposure, offset, and gamma correction, offering more control over the overall lighting in the image. By mastering these adjustment tools, you can fine-tune the lighting in your images to achieve the desired visual impact for your projects.
