The Dead Boxes and Community Challenge
The event, cleverly themed around the spooky season, tasks players with accumulating a staggering 20 billion takedowns. Upon completion of this collective goal, players will receive 10 Dead Boxes at no cost. But what are Dead Boxes? These special items are filled with exciting rewards such as coins, gadgets, star powers, hyperchargers, brawlers, and even spooky cosmetics.
Among the enticing items included in the Dead Boxes are the newly introduced zombie skins: Future Pam, Gruesome Gus, and Decaying Dynamite. Players will also find all non-exclusive Brawling skins available in the Dead Box as well. These skins will also be available for purchase in the shop during the event.
Event Rewards and Milestones
However, the Dead Boxes are just the beginning! The event introduces several milestones that players can unlock. Starting at the event kick-off, all participants will benefit from double masteries throughout the duration of the event.
- 5 billion takedowns: Earn double XP to boost your Brawl Pass progress.
- 10 billion takedowns: Receive a hypercharged star drop.
- 15 billion takedowns: Activate double star drops for everyone.
- 20 billion takedowns: Claim your 10 free Dead Boxes on October 31st!
New Game Modes and Community Giveaways
To help players in achieving these goals, three new game modes are being introduced: Martio Pumpkin Plunder, Dead Weight, and Zombie Brawl. Notably, all takedowns in these modes will count as double during the event.
