Apply Transitions to Every Clip INSTANTLY - Davinci Resolve

Education

Introduction

In a previous video, the process of batch fading all audio clips in Davinci Resolve was shown, making the Fade Out and Fade Back In process quick and efficient without individual adjustments. In response to viewer inquiries about a similar technique for video clips, this article will guide you through the steps to apply transitions to multiple clips instantly in Davinci Resolve.

To start, simply like and subscribe to support channels like the one presenting these helpful tips. Then, select all the clips you wish to apply the transition to in your project. This technique can also be used to add transitions to groups of clips for a consistent effect. Once the clips are highlighted, navigate to the video transition options in the toolbox. Choose any transition you prefer, but for this demonstration, dip to color dissolve will be used. Right-click on the selected transition and choose "Add to Selected Clips and Points." Zoom in to see all the clips now seamlessly transition with a Fade to Black and Fade Back In effect at the end.
