How to fix OneDrive stuck in processing changes on Windows 11 | Fix OneDrive Stick on Processing
Welcome to my YouTube channel. In this video, I, Kelvin Johnson, will demonstrate how to resolve a situation where your OneDrive is stuck on trying to process changes on your Windows 11 device.
Here you can see that I have files in my OneDrive. If I go to my File Explorer, you can see the files in my OneDrive, including a large file over four gigabytes. Sometimes, files get stuck in the processing phase when trying to upload to the cloud. As an IT system administrator, I have encountered similar issues in the workplace, where users face difficulties syncing files to their OneDrive.
To resolve this problem, start by identifying the file causing the issue. Check if large files are causing the problem by moving them to your local device. If the problem persists, check if you are syncing too many files simultaneously. Consider moving large or problematic files to an external drive temporarily. If the issue remains unresolved, resetting OneDrive can be a solution.
To reset OneDrive, you can run the following command in the Command Prompt:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\OneDrive.exe /reset
This process will reset OneDrive and allow it to start syncing again. If the problem persists, consider downloading and reconfiguring OneDrive on your device from the cloud. Thank you for watching, and don't forget to subscribe for more IT-related content.
