Neon Glow Tunnel Loop Motion Graphics in After Effects

Film & Animation

Introduction

To create an awesome neon glow tunnel effect in After Effects, we will be using the free Saber plugin. Begin by applying the Saber effect to a solid layer and changing its render settings from black to transparent. Keyframe the opacity of the layer from zero to a hundred percent and duplicate it, positioning the duplicated Saber effect to the other side. Adjust the angle, color, and add a floor glow to the layers. Make the layers 3D, duplicate the Sabers, reposition them, and adjust the X rotation for the bottom layers. Introduce a camera layer and a null object, parent the camera to the null, and enable depth of field for a nice blur effect. Animate the scale of the null objects to make the lines converge towards the viewer. Finally, pre-compose everything, duplicate the pre-comp a few times, and the layers in your timeline to create a neon glow tunnel loop in After Effects.
