Access the new ChatGPT API ???

Introduction

If you're eager to start using the new ChatGPT API in your products or apps, follow these simple steps to gain access. This guide will walk you through the process and help you get started quickly.

Step 1: Visit the OpenAI Platform

First, navigate to the OpenAI Platform.

Step 2: Change the Mode to Chat

On the right-hand side of the playground interface, locate the "Mode" option. Change this to "Chat" to switch to the new interface.

Step 3: Explore the New Interface

You'll notice a totally new interface here. If you're familiar with the playground from before, you'll recognize some elements, but there are enhancements designed specifically for chat interactions.

Step 4: Use the System Box

In the system box, you can define what role ChatGPT should play for your interaction. For example, if you want ChatGPT to write social media content for your bakery, you can specify this role here.

Step 5: Input User and Assistant Messages

Now, you can input different messages in a conversation between a user and an assistant. For a simple example, you could request a birthday cake social media post.

Step 6: Submit Your Request

Once you've inputted your message, click "Submit." ChatGPT will then generate the content you requested.
