ai|coustics API and Developer Portal with CTO Corvin
Introduction
Hi everyone, and welcome to this demo of our new API designed to enhance your speech recordings. I'm Corvin, co-founder and CTO of Ai|coustics, and today I'll guide you through the setup and functionalities of this powerful tool.
Getting Started
We start by logging into our developer portal. Here, you can create your first secret key, which you'll use to authenticate against our API. Follow these steps to get started:
- Create Your First Secret Key:
- Log into the developer portal.
- Create your secret key.
- Copy the key for later use.
Exploring the Documentation
In our documentation, you can set this API key directly and test all of our endpoints within the docs. Here's how you can proceed:
Set the API Key:
- Go to the documentation section in the developer portal.
- Set your API key.
Choose and Upload a File:
- Select the file you want to enhance, for example, a very noisy lecture recording.
- Upload the file and hit the "Try" button.
API Response and File Enhancement
Once you upload the file, the response will include an ID that identifies this file in our backend. This ID will be used to download the file afterwards. Additionally:
Control Parameters:
- You can control various parameters such as the loudness of the output file, the enhancement level, and transcoding the file to different file types.
Download Enhanced File:
- After the enhancement is complete, go to the download file section.
- Enter the file name generated by the enhance endpoint.
- Download the enhanced file.
Example:
- File Name: "very noisy lecture enhanced"
Conclusion
And that's it! You've just finished enhancing your first speech recording using our API. Our team is continuously working to improve the API further and add new features. Stay tuned for more updates, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance. Have a great day!
