Welcome to Log Nips! Today, I'll be showing you how to use the InVideo online text-to-video editor on your computer.

To start, open your preferred browser. I'll be using Google Chrome. In the search bar, type in invideo.io and hit enter. You'll be directed to the homepage of InVideo. If you haven’t created an account, you can do so for free. I've made a video on that, so check it out on my channel.

After logging into your InVideo account, you'll land on your dashboard. Here are some options available:

• Editor for Pro Video Creation: Choose dimensions and stock media.
• Text to Video: Select templates for your video.

To use the text-to-video feature, click on "Text to Video." Choose a template you like. There will be an option to preview the animation and choose between landscape, square, or portrait for your video dimensions. I'll choose landscape for this demo. Click "Use Template."

You'll be prompted to enter your script. For demonstration purposes, I'll use ChatGPT to generate a script about the "Top 15 Amazing Places in the USA."

STEPS

1. Entering Your Script:

   • Type your script in the designated area. Each statement or sentence should be on a new line.
   • You can also import your script via URL.

2. Preferences and Creating Scenes:

   • Click on "Create Scenes" after entering your script.

3. Video Generation:

   • InVideo will generate thumbnails for your script. The script lines will be separated into different scenes.

Using InVideo Panels

1. Upload Files:

   • You can upload files by dragging and dropping them into the upload section.

2. Search for Videos:

   • Use the video section to search for and filter videos from various sources like Shutterstock, Storyblocks, etc.

3. Images and Music:

   • Use the image section similarly to search and filter images.
   • In the music section, select any track or sound effect you prefer.

4. Other Elements:

   • Add text, logos, shapes, stickers, overlays, masks, emojis, etc.

Editor Section

1. Editing Scenes:

   • Double-click on any scene to enter the editor mode.
   • Unlock elements to manipulate them.

2. Timeline:

   • You can trim and split clips, zoom in and out (not ideally optimized), adjust audio levels, and record voiceovers.

3. Adding Text and Animations:

   • Add text by dragging and dropping it onto the scene. Customize it through the edit text box.

4. Finalizing Your Video:

   • Play around with different scenes, upload music, add voiceovers, and more.
