We are excited to introduce one of our most requested features regarding task settings in the 'done scheduling' state. You can now instruct Reclaim to automatically reopen or close tasks after a fixed amount of days in this state.
By default, tasks that are marked as 'done scheduling' are considered open until you either manually add more time to the task or mark it as done. In other words, Reclaim has finished scheduling the time you indicated was needed to complete the task, but it will wait for your confirmation on whether it has been completed.
With this feature, Reclaim will automatically reopen tasks after your specified number of days in the 'done scheduling' state and reschedule the original task time back onto your calendar.
If you choose this setting, Reclaim will close tasks after your chosen number of days in the 'done scheduling' state and will automatically mark them as done.
The default option currently allows you to manually add time to a task that is in the 'done scheduling' state, or you can manually mark it as done. If neither action is taken, the task remains in the done state.
If you decide to use one of the automated settings, you can specify how many days you want Reclaim to wait before taking action on tasks in the 'done scheduling' state.
You can manage these settings in the 'Settings' → 'General' → 'Default Task Settings'. The automated settings you configure will apply to both existing and future tasks in the 'done scheduling' state.
For further guidance, feel free to check the help docs provided in the description or leave a comment with any questions or feedback. Happy scheduling!
