Getting Started with Bitrix24

For new Bitrix24 members, there are three essential steps:

  1. Inviting Team Members: Click the invite button to add your team via a link, email, or phone number.
  2. Company Structure Setup: Designate departments and assign team members accordingly.
  3. Data Migration: Use the migration tool in the applications market to transfer data from other software like Asana, Jira, Zoho, etc.

Once these steps are completed, you're ready to dive into tasks and projects.

Tasks Overview

Navigating to the tasks section, you'll see various menus and buttons. Here's a breakdown:

  • Tasks: Lists all your tasks.
  • Ongoing: Filters tasks that are currently in progress.
  • Assisting: Tasks you're co-working with someone else.
  • Set by Me: Tasks assigned by you.
  • Following: Tasks where you're an observer.

Project Management

Bitrix24 allows you to manage tasks through multiple views:

  • List View: Simple list format.
  • Deadline Mode: Organizes tasks by their deadlines.
  • Planner Mode: Customizable columns to suit your workflow.
  • Calendar Mode: Tasks are displayed in a calendar grid.
  • Gantt Chart Mode: Ideal for long and complex projects.

Creating Tasks

To create a new task, fill in the following:

  • Name: Specify the task name.
  • Description: Detailed explanation or paste from an existing document.
  • Assign To: Person responsible for the task.
  • Participants: Additional people working on the task.
  • Observers: People supervising the task.
  • Deadline: Set deadlines or exact time frames.

You can organize tasks into projects or workgroups, each with unique functionalities:

  • Project: A singular, time-bound task group.

Creating a Project

To create a project:

  1. Select "Project" and name it—e.g., Create Webinar on CRM.
  2. Set privacy options: public, private, or hidden.
  3. Add participants.

Project Features

A project in Bitrix24 is a mini version of your main account:

  • Feed: Activity feed for project-related updates.
  • Calendar: View and manage project deadlines.
  • Drive: Store files related to the project.
