Creating Project & Importing Files in Capcut Lesson 1
Introduction
Welcome to part one of our series on how to use Capcut as a beginner. In this tutorial, we're focusing on the desktop version to ensure you have the same view if you're following along. You'll need to download Capcut to your desktop to participate. This guide is demonstrated on a Mac using the free version of Capcut.
Getting Started
Launching the Project
- Begin by clicking on the "Create" button.
- Select "Create Project" to initiate your first project.
Empty Workspace
- By default, your workspace will be blank with no files loaded.
Importing Files
- Navigate to your computer and find the files you wish to edit.
- Select the desired files and click to drag them into Capcut’s workspace.
- Simply drop the files into the workspace to import them.
