Entertainment

Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel, or hello if you're new here! I'm Mellie, a passionate crocheter and pattern designer. I also sell sewing sticks on Etsy which help you sew plushies and limbs together. If you're into that, check out my Linktree which has my Etsy shop linked. Let's dive into Vlog number 27 for this week!

Early Morning Crafting

It’s 3:27 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16th. Before we jump into this haul, I want to show you a pattern test for the crocheting professor. It’s a cute, poppable whale with a water spout that pops out! I posted it on Instagram if you want to check it out. The pattern is market-friendly and also includes instructions to create an orca.

Unboxing and Hauls

I've got a couple of bags from Amazon, Hobie, and a special package of crochet hooks to unbox.

Peach and Page Hooks

First up are my beautiful Peach and Page hooks. These are the last hooks I ordered for now. I have a gorgeous Arabian Nights hook and a mint-colored "Meant to Be" hook. Both are joining my growing collection of Peach and Page hooks.

Amazon Safety Eyes

Next from Amazon, I got some safety eyes and a cute cat bag meant as a gift. Additionally, I received some 24mm black safety eyes and retro hair clips that are making a comeback.

Hobie Yarn Haul

Moving on to my Hobie yarn haul, I ordered a variety of colors:

  • Color 18: Grape-like purple
  • Color 1: White
  • Color 29: Green
  • Color 24: Royal Blue
  • Color 34: Black
  • Color 14: Fuchsia pink
  • Color 30: Brown
  • Color 5: Bright Banana Yellow
  • Color 10: Mango
  • Color 7: Pale Pink
  • Color 12: Mauve
  • Color 3: Peachy Cream
  • Color 6: Mustard Yellow

Sewing Stick Order

Lastly, I'm packing up an order for Stephanie, who bought bumblebee-themed sewing sticks. Thanks, Stephanie!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Project

I couldn’t get the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles off my mind, so I started picking colors from my yarn wall. I’m using Premier basic chenille yarn in various colors for the bodies and accessories.

Hooks and Cricut Challenges

I've been working on putting my elephant logo and sizes on the hooks using my Cricut Joy. It was a long process due to technical issues but finally got everything working. Here’s what the hooks look like now with the updated logos.

Personal and Miscellaneous Updates

  • I’ve been feeling much better, managing migraines and dizziness.
  • Amanda sent me a lovely care package including a handmade mushroom, silicone beads, and more.
  • Double screens are set up for better productivity.

Current Projects and Final Thoughts

  • Michelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is complete and up on Etsy.
  • Working on Raphael and waiting on yarn for Donatello and Leonardo.
  • Focus is shifting to finishing Raphael and making Sadness from Inside Out.

Future Plans
