Last week, there was a system outage at CVS, causing a delay in the issuance of threshold coupons. Things are back to normal this week. If you get emails from CVS, some accounts get a 10% off or 20% off one regularly priced item. Using that coupon often triggers a threshold coupon for most, but not all accounts. These are flash deals and only valid the day you receive them and the next day.

Deals and Promotions

Covergirl

First up, we've got a money maker deal on Covergirl. I'm grabbing three of the twin brow pencils priced at $ 6.47 each. Using three $ 3 paper coupons, I'll pay $ 7.47 but earn back a $ 10 extra buck, making this a $ 2.53 money maker.

U by Kotex

Next, we've got the U by Kotex liners on promotion for buy one, get one 50% off and buy two, earn back $ 2 in extra bucks. They're priced at $ 2.19 each. Using a $ 3 off two digital coupon, I'll pay $ 0.28 but earn back $ 2 in extra bucks, making this a $ 1.71 money maker.

Tylenol

Tylenol is on promotion for spend $ 25, earn back a $ 5 extra buck. I picked one priced at $ 8.29 and three at $ 7.29 each. This totals $ 30.16. Using three $ 2 paper coupons and a $ 2 digital coupon, I'll pay $ 20.16, earn back a $ 5 extra buck, and submit for the Activate Rewards Visa promotion for a $ 10 Visa, making the cost $ 7.16 before factoring in my 10 off 70 threshold coupon.

Pampers

Grabbing some Pampers Swaddlers, priced at $ 14.49 each and on promotion for buy one, get one 50% off and buy two, earn back $ 5 extra buck. Two of these will cost me $ 21.73. Using a $ 3 off two digital coupon, I'll pay $ 18.73 and earn back a $ 5 extra buck.

Putting It All Together

In my first transaction, totaling $ 71.64 worth of products, I'll be using the 10 off 70 threshold coupon. After coupons and using my CarePass, I'll be left to pay $ 33.64. I'll earn $ 22 in extra bucks and submit for the $ 10 Visa, making the net cost $ 1.64.

Second Transaction

For my second transaction, I'll grab Gain beads, Tide Pods, and Downy. These total $ 29.97. Using the respective digital coupons, I'll pay $ 23.97 and earn back a $ 10 extra buck. Adding Covergirl, Axe, and Crest oral care, my total comes to $ 73.30 before coupons. Using the 10 off 70 threshold coupon, I'll be left to pay $ 33.29 after using $ 32 in extra bucks. I'll earn back $ 28 in extra bucks, making this transaction cost $ 5.29.

Final Summary

Combining both transactions, the total net cost comes to $ 7.56 for everything including three laundry products, two packages of diapers, and five bottles of Tylenol. Super happy with these savings!
