Dr. Steven Hassan EXPOSES Social Media's Darkest Secrets!
Education
Introduction
In recent years, I, Dr. Steven Hassan, have dedicated significant time and research into understanding the intricate web of digital influence. My journey began in 2015 when I studied the online recruitment tactics employed by groups like ISIS. This critical examination opened my eyes to how various forms of influence, including hypnosis, are utilized in the digital realm to manipulate people.
During my attendance at AI conferences, I had the opportunity to meet AAR Rasin at the BrainMind.org conference in San Francisco. This enriching experience reinforced my belief that the digital world operates as a form of mind control. We find ourselves increasingly engineered by the billionaires who own social media platforms, often with minimal regard for user data privacy protections here in the United States.
Take, for instance, the advanced algorithms that create detailed profiles using as many as 5,000 data points on every voting American. This level of surveillance and data manipulation hints at a sinister capability of these technologies. It is imperative that we realize that we are supposed to be in control of our computers and cell phones—they are our tools, not vice versa. If we remain unmindful of these dynamics, we risk ceding power to digital technologies that can easily influence our thoughts and behaviors.
To further illuminate these issues, I am excited to explore a newly released book titled Tech Agnostic. I will also be interviewing the author, Greg Epstein, shortly for an upcoming podcast. Additionally, I want to highlight my recent appearance on the Your Undivided Attention podcast from the Center for Humane Technology, as well as their newsletter. One of the critical topics discussed is how individuals often find themselves online for hours, completely unaware of the passage of time. This phenomenon aligns with the principles of hypnosis, demonstrating how engrossing online activities can lead to altered states of consciousness.
Stay tuned for more insights as I dive deeper into the human-tech interface. Check the resource links in this blog for various interviews and articles I've produced on the topic. I invite you to follow my Substack, Freedom of Mind, as well as my YouTube channel, where I will continue to unpack these important issues related to the digital landscape. Thank you for your attention!
