Introduction

If you're new to DaVinci Resolve and want to quickly remove and replace the green screen in any of your footage, follow these simple steps:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Head Over to the Fusion Page
    Navigate to the Fusion page within DaVinci Resolve.

  2. Access the Effects Tab
    Go up to the Effects Tab and use the search bar to find Delta Keyer.

  3. Add Delta Keyer
    Grab the Delta Keyer by left-clicking and holding, then drag it down in between your Media In and Media Out.

  4. Select Background Color
    In the upper-right Inspector panel, where it says Background Color, left-click and grab the eyedropper tool.

  5. Choose the Color to Remove
    With the eyedropper, select the color on screen you want to remove.

  6. Check Your Edit Page
    Now, when you go back to the Edit page, any track below your main footage in your timeline will show through. Voila! You've just replaced your green screen background.
