If you're struggling to apply strip lashes, you're not alone! Here are two tricks for easier application that can make the process much simpler.

  1. Wait for Adhesive to Turn Semi-Clear
If you are using a clear adhesive, make sure it becomes semi-clear before you apply the lashes. The common advice is to wait up to 30 seconds, but that's not always true for everyone. The right amount of waiting time varies depending on the amount of adhesive you use. For some, it might take up to a minute to reach the semi-clear stage. When it turns that semi-clear color, your adhesive will have the best grip and tackiness.

  2. Curving the Lashes
One very effective trick is to make sure that the two lashes can be glued together, making them adhere to each other. This is particularly helpful because it ensures that the strip lashes adopt a curve that matches your natural eye shape.

Here’s a visual illustration: I have two lashes side-by-side. The left side is almost ready to be applied as it's semi-clear, whereas the right side is still not ready. Once you ensure your lashes are curved to your eye shape, applying them will be much easier.
