His work examines how Americans have continuously interpreted the meaning of the American Revolution. Additionally, on September 25th, we’ll present a program titled Founding Debates, focusing on democratic renewal as we approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. We will feature notable speakers like Stanley McChrystal and Danielle Allen. Finally, mark October 17th on your calendar for a special lunch at the library celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Marquee de Lafayette's return to Mount Vernon.

Moving onto our main event, I am thrilled to introduce Dr. Lindsay Zarinsky, the new executive director of George Washington’s Presidential Library.
