Welcome to my mini blog! Today was quite an eventful day, starting with heavy rain before heading to the office. It's always the case: when it rains before work, we inevitably find ourselves running late. In cities like Delhi and Noida, the streets quickly get flooded, causing traffic congestion and delays.

Upon arriving at the office, we have been engrossed in working on the same design all morning. This led to a considerably late lunch, a common occurrence when our focus is deeply set on our projects. There are days when I feel proud of our field—designing is rewarding when you see the fruits of your labor. However, the challenge arises when our designs are not being selected. It often leads to the thought that perhaps we’ve chosen the wrong path in our careers.

After a lengthy session of revisions and discussions, we finally moved on to our site visit. I had the job of briefing the electrician about where we needed to supply power for the boat according to the design specifications. This was followed by a brief but necessary meeting with the client, which added to our waiting time.

On our way back, we opted to take the metro, as the office car was unavailable. However, as soon as we reached the station, the heavens opened again. We had no other option but to wait a little while for the rain to ease up. After our wait, we managed to find a rickshaw to take us home. It seems that whenever we travel on our own, a twist of misfortune follows.

That sums up my day—provide feedback, adapt designs, juggle meetings, and battle rain. All in a day’s work!
