Genshin Impact - Therapy because of Genshin xD
Gaming
Introduction
After a long hiatus, I decided to jump back into streaming Genshin Impact. Honestly, it feels a bit embarrassing, but hey—it’s nice to be back! I can’t recall exactly how long it’s been, but I know it’s been a week, which is quite sad. Nonetheless, streaming is just a hobby, and I’m not obligated to do it consistently. I’ve seen support from everyone, which is both surprising and heartwarming.
While wanting to play Genshin Impact, I found myself frustrated with the thumbnail I had prepared for this stream. It didn’t match the current featured banners in-game, specifically with the availability of Raiden and Kazuha. Although I initially wanted to create a new thumbnail showcasing the two characters, I didn’t get around to it.
I missed out on some event rewards as well, obtaining only about half of them due to my absence. I just figured that sometimes it’s okay to miss things because it's all part of the game. I thought about trying out some characters that I haven't played with much, too.
Upon logging back into the server, I realized that I still had much to catch up on. As I prepared for some trial stages, I was curious to try out the new character Kazuha but felt a bit apprehensive. However, it turned out that he wasn’t as confusing to use as I initially thought. His gameplay seemed intuitive and full of potential for major DPS contributions.
During the stream, I reflected on why it's called "therapy." The past few days have been filled with a mix of life developments and job uncertainty. My current job is ending soon because the company is closing, leaving me looking for new opportunities. I had an interesting offer from another company, but they couldn’t provide a certain job at the moment. This has piled on a lot of stress.
Talking about this helped open up opportunities for me to express my anxieties. I've had sleepless nights filled with anxiety and nightmares, especially when under pressure. It’s important to share these experiences, whether in a live setting or with friends and family. Mental well-being is incredibly significant, and I appreciate the support from those who reach out.
During our gameplay, I had some fun moments and challenges, especially while using characters like Chi-Chi instead of my preferred ones. I reflected on the challenges that come with using only Cryo characters while facing tough opponents like the whale. It was a test of endurance, and I even had moments of humor about the struggles of using sub-optimal setups.
In the end, the stream served its purpose as a form of therapy—not only for me but for community interactions as well. Offering life tips and wisdom, I emphasized the importance of self-care, eating well, and ensuring you hydrate yourself! It’s genuinely fulfilling to share experiences and advice with my viewers.
As I wrapped up the session, I thanked everyone and encouraged them to always prioritize their well-being. It’s important to stay connected to others while navigating our personal battles.
