Creating videos from text ideas can be a challenging task, but with Fliki, the process becomes seamless and straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started with Fliki and create stunning videos effortlessly.

To begin, you need to either log in or sign up on Fliki. Once you’re logged in, head to the main dashboard.

Step 2: Select Files

From the top panel, select the Files option. Click on the New File button to start a new project.

Step 3: File Settings

Select the language and dialect for your project.
Write the file's name.
Choose your desired aspect ratio.
Under the Start With section, select Idea.

Once you’re done, hit Submit.

Step 4: Write Your Idea

In the Idea box, write your idea and select the length of the video. You also have the option to choose between premium stock media or unique AI images for each scene. For this example, let’s continue with AI art.

Step 5: Choose AI Art Style

Select from various styles like 3D model, digital art, low poly, photographic, etc. For now, let’s pick the Cinematic style.

Additionally, you have the option to add AI avatars, sound effects, headings, and stickers to your video. Finally, hit Submit. Fliki will create the video based on your idea.

Step 6: Preview and Edit Your Video

Once the video is created, you can preview it by clicking on the play icon below the video. To expand a scene, simply click on it once.

Understanding Scenes and Layers

Scene: A scene refers to an individual section of your video content.

When working on a scene, you have several layers to play with:

Voiceover Layer: Your main narration.
Layout Layer: Determines the background arrangement on the screen.
Picture in Picture Layer: Smaller video inside the main one.
Text Layer: Words that appear on the screen to emphasize or explain.
Audio Layer: Includes your uploaded audio or sound effects.
Avatar Layer: A character representing you or your brand.

Step 7: Customizing Layers

Voiceover Layer

Click on the voice name to select a different voice.
Filter by language, dialect, gender.
Play a sample by hitting the speaker icon. Double click to select the voice.
Control volume and speed in the left panel.
Customize subtitles: visibility, position, font size, display color, animation, and visualization.

Layout Layer

Click on the media icon to select the background.
Choose from the premium stock library, upload your own media, or get AI-generated visuals.
Use the Autogenerate option for unique visuals based on your scene’s context.
Choose from various layout splits.
Autopick Media will automatically select the media based on the text.

Avatar Layer

Click on the Avatar icon to open the selection popup.
Pick from a rich collection of stock avatars.
Filter by gender.
Upload your own image or create a personalized talking avatar.
Customize position, size, close-up settings, transparency, and animation in the left panel.
Click on Generate Avatar Video and confirm to generate your talking avatar.

Other Layers

Settings for picture in picture, text, and audio layers can be controlled from the left customization panel.

Step 8: Add Background Music

Scroll to the top and click on the Choose File button in the background audio layer to search or upload your background music. Control the volume and speed from the customization panel.

Step 9: Export Your Video

Finally, click Download, then Start Export to download your video in MP4 format.
