How I Set Up the Ultimate Painting Station!
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Perfect Paint Space for Izzy
Izzy loves to paint, so I decided to set up the ultimate paint station for her. Here’s how I did it step-by-step:
Rolling Out the Painting Mat: I started by laying out a pink painting mat. This not only adds a splash of her favorite color but also protects our workspace.
Arranging the Paint Brushes: Next, I got out some new pink paint brushes and arranged them on the mat in size order. This way, everything is organized and within easy reach.
Setting Up the Paints: I wanted to provide a range of colors for Izzy to work with. I selected light pink, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple, and black. Additionally, I filled up two larger squares with pink and red to give her ample supplies of her favorite hues.
Preparing the Paintbrush Cleaner: I then set up the paintbrush cleaner. This nifty device works kind of like a toilet for your paintbrush—you can clean it off and then press the flush button. Izzy found it highly amusing and functional.
Setting Up the Canvas: Finally, I put down a brand-new canvas. With everything ready, it was time to let Izzy unleash her creativity.
Although I'd love to say that she kept it organized, within about 30 minutes, the workspace turned chaotic. However, irrespective of the mess, the end result was a masterpiece!
