How To Automate VIRAL Text Message Stories With AI (TikTok Creator Rewards Program)
People & Blogs
Introduction
On my channel, every couple of weeks, I drop a video on the best niches currently trending on TikTok. One niche that is consistently getting great views is fake chat message stories, just like the two examples on screen right now. I've previously shown a tutorial on how to make this type of content, but there's a brand new method that involves using AI to automate the whole process for you. This includes the script, voiceover, background gameplay, animation—everything is done within 2 minutes. And of course, you can post this on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
In this article, I'm going to show you two methods to create monetizable chat message stories. The first method will be completely free but does require a lot of time and effort to produce the content. The second method does require payment but cuts down all the time because you use AI to automate the process. Make sure you read the whole article to see both methods and choose which one you prefer to use. Stay right until the end because I've got a bonus tip that can help you get into the Creator Rewards Program today.
Step-by-Step for the Free Method
Step 1: Generating Scripts
First, listen to me very, very carefully: do not just ask ChatGPT to do it for you. If you are using ChatGPT to generate scripts for your chat message stories, you have no right to complain if you're getting stuck on 200 views. That is not the strong point of that AI. For these types of videos, you do need a bit of creativity. However, that doesn't mean you can't use a helping hand.
I like to search TikTok for popular chat message stories and find videos that got hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of views. These videos were really popular, so you know the script is already going to be very good. Paste the link of these TikTok videos into a website called GetSub.cc, and you can download the transcript for those videos. Now, when you go to make your scripts, you've basically got a model answer to base it off. Make sure to change a few lines and use different AI voices, but as they say, "steal like an artist." It's kind of like those school days when your friend would give you the homework to copy but not make it too obvious.
Step 2: Creating the Chat Message Template
Now that your script is done, you need to make the video. The first step is creating a text story. Go to the website on the screen and select SMS messages. You can customize each character with a name and profile picture and then start inputting the messages. Once you've filled the page, click download image. You may have to download more than one image, especially if your story is longer than one page.
Step 3: Voiceovers
Next, you need voiceovers for each character. Head over to Eleven Labs since it's chat message stories you will have more than one person. You will need a different AI voiceover for each character.
However, don't just use the default Eleven Labs voices everyone else seems to use. People have started the rumor that chat message stories are not monetizable on TikTok, which is completely false. The problem is a lot of videos in this niche become ineligible for the For You Page and disqualified for the Creator Rewards Program, not because of the chat story but because of the reused Minecraft gameplay and reused AI voices.
To avoid this issue, you need to be a bit creative. Use different AI voices and avoid the default ones. Also, look into Eleven Labs' voice library to select unique voices for each character. Generate and download the audio file line by line for easier editing.
Step 4: Background Gameplay
Background gameplay is crucial but problematic. Most videos get taken down or disqualified for reused Minecraft gameplay. You need original non-copyright gameplay. Either pay someone on Fiverr or Upwork to create original gameplay or find original clips unrelated to Minecraft. Make sure to change the background gameplay every three or so videos to reduce the chances of your clips getting flagged.
Step 5: Editing with CapCut
Now that you have all the components, head over to CapCut to edit everything together:
- Import all of your files and drag the background gameplay into the timeline. Adjust the aspect ratio to 9x16.
- Drag the screenshot of the chat message story template into your timeline and scale it down to fit into the video.
- Select the template, head over to the mask function, and select the line. Drag it up so only the first line is shown. Drag in the voiceover for that line.
- Repeat the process for every line and voiceover, optionally adding sound effects.
- Click export to finalize your video.
Despite being a free method, it works but takes a long time (30-45 minutes per video). For those valuing time, the second method with AI automation might be preferable.
The Paid Method: AI Automation with One Click
The second method leverages AI to create monetizable shorts in literally two minutes. The website One Click lets you create top-quality content quickly.
Step 1: Sign Up and Choose Template
Sign up for One Click and choose from their templates. Select the chat story template.
Step 2: Choose Background Video
Choose a background video from One Click's options or upload your own to avoid being flagged by the algorithm.
Step 3: Set Up Conversation
Customize the recipient's name, profile picture, and choose appropriate AI voices for characters. Select your template style (iMessage, Instagram DM, or Tinder).
Step 4: Input or Generate Text Messages
You can input text messages manually or use AI to generate them. Make sure your prompt specifies the story type, language, time duration, and call-to-action.
Step 5: Generate Video
One Click’s AI will generate the chat message story based on your prompt. Pay attention to video duration to ensure it's over a minute for monetization eligibility. You can always reset the canvas if needed. When ready, click generate.
Conclusion
Comparing these methods, One Click offers a much faster turnaround at a small cost, averaging less than a dollar per video. Plus, they offer various payment plans, including discounts with code "Clipper" for 10% off.
