How To Beat Ai Content Detectors Using Chat GPT Prompt Engineering
Today, my KDP family, I promise to inform you all on how to create content from Chat GPT that AI content detectors won't be able to detect that it was written by an AI.
For the sake of this article, I'll be making use of two tools:
First, we go to Chat GPT and ask it to generate an article or a story. For example, I asked it to write a story about Lagos.
After copying the generated story, we then paste it into an AI content detector to check if it can detect that it was written by an AI.
Example Check:
- Paste the story into the AI content detector.
- Click "Check for AI Content".
- Result: Likely to be AI generated.
Next, the idea is to create prompts that will make Chat GPT generate content that AI content detectors won't be able to detect as AI-generated. We will be using three prompts for this.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Initial Setup
Go back to Chat GPT. We're going to be using three prompts.
Copy the first prompt from your prepared notes.
I'm going to give you some information before asking you to write an article.
Paste it into Chat GPT. Chat GPT will then respond asking you to provide the information.
Step 2: Providing Specifications
Copy the second prompt from your notes. This prompt is designed to instruct Chat GPT on the structure and style you want the content to have.
When it comes to writing content, two factors are crucial: perplexity and burstiness.
Complexity measures the complexity of text, while burstiness compares the variations of sentences.
Humans tend to write with greater burstiness, for example, with some longer or complex sentences alongside shorter ones.
AI sentences tend to be more uniform.
Therefore, when writing the following content I'm going to ask you to create, I need it to have a good amount of perplexity and burstiness.
Do you understand?
Chat GPT will confirm understanding and response readiness.
Step 3: Generating Refined Content
Copy the final prompt from your notes and prepare to provide the original story for rewriting.
Go back to the original story about Lagos that you had Chat GPT generate,
Copy it again,
Return to Chat GPT, and paste the final prompt followed by the original story,
Hit 'Enter' to have the updated content generated.
Copy the newly generated story.
Step 4: Verifying Human-Like Content
Go back to the AI content detector, paste in the newly generated story, and check for AI content.
Example Check:
- Delete the previous story.
- Paste the newly generated story.
- Click "Check for AI Content".
- Result: 95% Highly likely to be human.
This is the idea behind using this prompt. For any article, story, or book you want to write, you can use these prompts. The only thing you need to change is the specific story or topic, but the prompt stays the same.
No need for QuillBot or any other paraphrasing tool. With these prompts, you can achieve a perfect or near-perfect human-like score for your content.

FAQ
Q1: What tools do I need to create undetectable AI content?
- You will need Chat GPT and an AI content detector.
Q2: What are the key components to focus on for creating human-like content?
- Focus on 'Perplexity' and 'Burstiness' in your content.
Q3: Do I need any additional paraphrasing tools like QuillBot?
- No, you don't need additional paraphrasing tools with this approach.
Q4: Can these prompts be used for any type of writing?
- Yes, the prompts can be used for articles, stories, or books by changing the specific content while keeping the prompts consistent.
Q5: How can I verify the human-likeness of the generated content?
- Paste the content into an AI content detector and check the percentage likelihood of it being human-generated.
Q6: What is the purpose of using these specific prompts with Chat GPT?
- The prompts ensure that the generated content has the complexity and variation typical of human writing, making it harder for AI detectors to identify it as AI-written content.
