HOW TO CREATE TALKING AVATAR THAT LOOK LIKE YOU// CREATE PERSONALIZED AVATARS FOR YOUR BUSINESS

If you’re new here, welcome! My name is Jane, and today I’ll walk you through the process of creating AI-generated talking avatars that look just like you. These avatars can be tailored to feature the brand of your organization, company, YouTube channel, or social media page. Without further ado, let's dive into the tutorial.

Step 1: Avatar Creation

We begin by creating your avatar using Microsoft's Copilot. Navigate to the provided link, copilot.microsoft.com, sign in with your Microsoft account, and click on "Designer." In the text prompt area, you’ll write a detailed prompt describing the desired avatar appearance. For example:

YouTuber, black female, plus-size, in a home office setting. T-shirt should say "Everyday Life with J" and be white.

Ensure to specify "3D," "high definition," and resolutions such as "16:9" for better quality.

Here are some images I created; I had to refine my prompts to achieve a more realistic look with higher definition. Don't hesitate to try multiple prompts until satisfied.

Step 2: Image Expansion

Next, we use Photo AI for image expansion. This tool helps to convert the square images to a 16:9 aspect ratio suitable for YouTube. Upload your selected avatar images to Photo AI, select "Wide Screen 16:9," and click "Generate." This will add background elements to fit the specified aspects. Save the expanded images to your computer.

Step 3: Face Matching

To make the avatar look more like you, use Remer AI for face swapping. Upload the avatar image and a clear photo of yourself. Click "Swap" to merge the two images seamlessly. The result should bear a striking resemblance to you. Save the swapped image.

Step 4: Creating the Talking Avatar

We now make the avatar talk using either D-ID or D-Pop. While D-ID is straightforward, it leaves watermarks and has limits on free usage.

  1. Using D-ID: Upload your avatar image on D-ID’s platform and insert the audio file you want it to voice. Click "Generate," and once done, download the video.

  2. Using D-Pop: For a watermark-free experience with more free credits, sign up on D-Pop. Upload your avatar image, insert the audio, and click "Generate Avatar." This method provides a cleaner and more professional outcome.

Conclusion

Creating a personalized talking avatar is easier than it sounds. With the right tools, you can create high-quality avatars that closely resemble you and brand them as needed. Follow these steps, experiment, and you’ll have a fantastic talking avatar in no time.
