How to Cut a Video

Cutting or trimming parts of a video can be quick and easy with Clipchamp. Follow these step-by-step instructions to efficiently remove sections and refine the start and end of your video.

Getting Started

  1. Head over to Clipchamp: Visit clipchamp.com and log in or create a free account. Find the link for convenient access in the video description below.
  2. Accessing the Editor: Post login, you'll be directed to the homepage. Click on the Create a new video button to enter the editor.

Importing and Placing Your Video

  2. Trim the End: Hover over the end of the video and drag the handle to the left to remove the unwanted section.
  3. Precise Trimming: For precision, drag the seeker to the exact point you wish to trim, click the split icon, and delete the excess part of the video.

Exporting Your Edited Video

  1. Exporting the Video: Once satisfied with your edits, click on the Export button and select your desired video quality.
  2. Save to Device: Upon completion of the export, hit Save to your computer to download the video to your device.
