Introduction

Hi everyone, it's Ivo from Wisecut. Today, I want to show you how to cut down hours of video content into a one-minute video using only keywords. If you don't know Wisecut yet, Wisecut is an AI video editor that automatically edits videos for you. Simply upload your video files, and Wisecut will create subtitles, remove silences, make cuts, and add background music automatically.

The platform simplifies the process of creating videos, especially for short formats such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok.

Upload and Transcription

Here is the Wisecut platform. I've already uploaded a 40-minute video. One cool feature of Wisecut is that it transcribes everything you say into text and links the video to the text. This means you can click on a line of text like "Hi, I'm James Ledbetter, I'm the editor of Inkman" and it will go directly to that part of the video. This makes finding specific content much easier than using a traditional timeline.

Selecting Scenes Using Keywords

To cut down video for a shorts format, select scenes for a short video. You can search for keywords, for example, "influence," using Command + F on a Mac or Control + F on Windows. Select the scenes where the speaker is talking about influence. Repeat this for other keywords like "ideas" and "standard."

Fine-tuning Cuts

Wisecut automatically creates cuts using algorithms to understand the end of a train of thought, resulting in smoother transitions. If needed, you can also use the scissors tool to create additional or smaller cuts. You can also see the total duration of the video, which helps in creating videos of specific lengths, like 30 seconds or one minute.

You can add your own logo at the end of the video. Click on the plus sign and add your logo, which will be included in the final output.

Creating the Final Output

Once you've selected your scenes and added your logo, click on "Create Project from Scene." Give your project a name and select the size. For vertical formats suitable for shorts or reels, choose the vertical option. Wisecut uses face recognition to keep your face centered with the "Auto Reframe" feature.

Click on "Create Project," and Wisecut will render the video. You will receive an email once the video is ready.

Here's an example of the final output:

I believe leadership is really a skill of influence. It is the most important skill that any human being can master. You can't just come up with ideas; ideas will die on your lips unless you become a person of influence. If I understand that, I can communicate in a way that'll inspire you to maximize your potential. Leadership is when I'm gone, and you've raised your own standard and continue to perform at a higher level.

Stay tuned as we are constantly evolving to help you make better and shorter videos with just a few clicks using Wisecut.
