How to extract text from PDFs and Images (JPEG, PNG, TIFF)?

Welcome to another tutorial from Algod Doc. Today, we’ll walk you through the process of converting PDFs to Word documents using our platform. This step-by-step guide will help you transform your PDF or image files into editable Word documents.

Step 1: Log into Your Algod Doc Account

The first step is to log into your Algod Doc account. Once you have logged in, navigate to the File Manager Tab.

Step 2: Open the Root Folder Menu

In the File Manager Tab, right-click on the root folder. This action will display a drop-down menu with various options. Select Convert PDF and Image to Editable Files from the menu.

Step 3: Upload Your PDF or Image

A new window will launch, prompting you to upload your PDF or image document. Select the file from your device and upload it to Algod Doc.

Step 4: Select Language and Output Type

Once you've uploaded your document, you need to choose the document's language from the Language Drop-Down Menu. Algod Doc allows for the selection of multiple languages to accommodate different documents.

Next, select the document output type from the Output File Type Drop-Down Menu. For this example, choose MS Word since that is the format we aim to convert to.

Step 5: Initiate the Conversion

After selecting the desired options, click the Upload button at the bottom of the pop-up window. Once the conversion is complete, the uploaded document will disappear from the window. You can now close this pop-up window and return to the File Manager Tab.

Step 6: Download the Converted Document

Within the File Manager Tab, you will see the converted document listed along with details such as the file name, size, and upload date. A unique icon labeled MS Word will be displayed beside the document to indicate it has been converted successfully.

Click on this Word Icon to download the converted file to your device's download folder. You can then open the document in any Word processing application of your choice.
