Introduction

Creating 3D animated stories can now be accomplished effortlessly using AI. In today’s article, we will discuss all the steps involved in animation: from scripting and voiceovers to finally compiling everything together. We will also cover how to create talking animations. Everything you learn today is free, and if you have any questions, you can join our WhatsApp group available through the link in the description below. Before we start, make sure to like and subscribe. Let's begin!

Script

First, go to ChatGPT and instruct it to generate a short story on a specific topic, ensuring each scene lasts about 4 seconds, and ask it to provide prompts for generating animated videos for each scene. The exact prompt is available in the description.

ChatGPT will provide both prompts and the story for you.

Voice Over

For the voiceover, while 11 Labs offers natural-sounding voices, it is not totally free. Therefore, we will use TTS Maker, a free text-to-speech tool with a wide variety of languages and natural-sounding voices.

  1. Ask ChatGPT to regenerate the story without the prompts and labels.
  2. Copy the story text and use TTS Maker to select a language and voice, paste the story, enter the CAPTCHA code, and convert it to speech.
  3. Download the finished voiceover file.

Text to Animations

We will use Hyper AI for 3D animations. Hyper AI is a powerful, unlimited, and free AI video generation tool. It can generate videos from prompts or still images. Here’s how:

  1. Copy the first prompt from ChatGPT.
  2. Go to Hyper AI, click "Create Video with Text," and paste your prompt.
  3. Select the duration, aspect ratio, 3D animation, and animation style to the prompt.
  4. Click "Create."

Repeat this process for each prompt until all scenes are generated, keeping "3D animation" and "Disney inspired" in the prompt to achieve the best results. Note that Hyper AI is still in beta, which means it doesn't always have a consistent character, so you may need to be specific in your prompts.

Talking Animations

For talking animations, use Canva’s lip-sync feature:

  1. Log into Canva, click "Apps," and search for Lamu.
  2. Upload your video and your audio file.
  3. Click "Generate lip sync video."

Compile and Edit

Finally, use CapCut to compile and edit your scenes:

  1. Upload the voiceover and video files.
  2. Drag the voiceover first to guide the editing process, followed by the video clips according to the story.
  3. Add additional scenes or effects to make the video more engaging.
  4. Search for and download copyright-free background music from YouTube Audio Library.
  5. Add the background music to CapCut and adjust the volume.
  6. Export the final video.

Example Videos

Here are examples of two stories created using this process:

  1. Story 1:

In the heart of a dense bamboo forest, young Kai discovers a lost Panda Cub. Kai gently comforts the frightened cub, offering it a piece of bamboo. The two new friends play together, rolling and laughing in the sunlit clearing. As evening falls, Kai builds a cozy shelter for the panda using bamboo and leaves. Under a star-lit sky, Kai and the panda share a warm meal by the campfire.

  2. Story 2:

In a remote village surrounded by a dense forest, a young boy named Leo often wandered through the woods. One sunny afternoon, he heard a rustling in the bushes and cautiously approached. To his amazement, a majestic lion with a thorn in its paw lay there, whimpering in pain. Leo, with a gentle touch, removed the thorn from the lion's paw. From that day on, the boy and the lion became inseparable friends, exploring the forest together and sharing many adventures while protecting each other from dangers.
