How To Make An Animated Cartoon Video Using AI | Animated Stories
People & Blogs
Introduction
Children love watching animated cartoon videos, and because of that reason, these types of channels are getting millions of views daily and earning thousands of dollars every single month. To be honest, creating these types of videos is super easy because of different AI tools available. In this article, I'm going to teach you how you can make these types of animated videos using AI tools, from writing scripts to editing your video. I've divided the whole process into five different parts.
Step 1: Generating Script
I am personally using Gravity Write to generate my script, but if you already have a proper script for your video, then you can skip this step.
- Log into Gravity Write.
- Click on the link provided to be redirected to the page.
- Enter a topic for your video.
- Choose a theme that suits your video and select the audience group.
- Enter the number of characters you want in your video or simply mention their names.
- Specify the length of your video and hit Enter.
As you can see, it generates a very engaging and entertaining script for our video. Copy the entire script and paste it into Google Docs.
Step 2: Generating Voice Over
You can use any AI tool to generate your audio. For this, I'm going to use Eleven Labs.
- Sign up for free.
- Generate different voices for your different characters one by one.
- Select a voice for your first character.
- Copy the first dialogue and paste it.
- Click on the generate button to produce the audio.
- Download the audio and rename it properly to keep it well-organized.
Repeat this for all dialogues and characters.
Step 3: Editing Cartoon Characters
I'm going to use Adobe Express for this.
- Sign in and click on “animate from audio”.
- Choose a character that fits your script.
- Change the background to green.
- Convert this image into a video by uploading the audio.
- Enable the enhance speech option and upload the audio file.
- Wait a few seconds for the video to render and download it.
Repeat this process for all dialogues.
Step 4: Generating Background
For this step, I'm going to use Canva.
- Head over to Canva and click to create a new design.
- Set the required duration.
- Search for a background that suits your story.
- Set the image as a background and add animated elements.
- Search for relevant animated elements and add them to your design.
- Download the background separately to facilitate easier editing later on.
Repeat this process for all needed backgrounds.
Step 5: Editing
For editing, I'm using CapCut.
- Sign up for free.
- Create a new project and upload all the animated character videos and backgrounds.
- Add the background to the timeline.
- Add the first animated character and remove the green background.
- Position the character appropriately.
- Import the other characters and position them as required.
- Generate Auto captions to make the video more engaging.
- Add background music and sound effects.
After all the editing, your final video will look something like this:
