I Went Viral on TikTok's Worst Clone
People & Blogs
Introduction
I just stumbled upon what could be TikTok’s worst clone and decided to give myself 24 hours to go viral on it. Here's how it went:
Hour 1
First, I created a new account and began scrolling on Triller to see if there were any trends I could follow. Turns out, there weren’t any prominent trends.
Hour 2
I decided to go with the classic Renegade dance.
Hour 3
I made a meme video, trying to catch the humor wave.
Hour 4
I called my friend and begged him to follow me on Triller.
Hour 6
I decided to broaden my reach by making a Reddit post.
Currently, I’m eating lunch, and we just got another follower. We’re up to three Triller followers! This is a small victory.
Hour 16
It hit me that I messed up the Reddit post. It didn’t garner the attention I hoped for.
Hour 18
I made a YouTube short to attract more viewers.
Hour 21
I shifted gears to make some drama videos, hoping the intrigue would reel people in.
Hour 24
I concluded my 24-hour challenge by making some music.
