Getting Started with Clip Creator

To get started, click on the "Get Started" button to create a HubSpot account if you don’t already have one, or sign into your existing account. Once you've signed up for Clip Creator or signed into your account, you can start creating your video.

The first thing that Clip Creator is going to ask for is a brief description of the video that you want to create. Clip Creator can create videos across a whole variety of different topics. Whether you want to introduce your business, promote a product, or discuss a topic your business has expertise in, Clip Creator can handle it.

Creating Your First Video

In this scenario, we’re imagining that we are a B2B company called Coffee Coco, a food and beverage company. We'll use Clip Creator to create a quick promotional video that highlights some of the selling points of our business.

Providing Guidance and Selecting a Template

On the next page, provide Clip Creator with some guidance on the tone of voice for the video. If you have a particular brand voice to maintain consistency across all marketing channels, you can do the same here by providing some adjectives for the tone.

Next, select a template. This is a starting point for the look and feel of your video, and you will be able to change it later. For this example, let’s select the "Life Skills Hub" template. Clip Creator will then create your video.

How Clip Creator Works

Behind the scenes, HubSpot AI takes the text description you provided and creates a script for the entire video. It will come up with text for each slide and fetch relevant images from a stock image library.

Once it's done, you’ll have a complete video. You can either generate and download your video right away or make further tweaks and edits.

Editing Your Video

On the left sidebar, you can see each of the slides throughout your video, and on the right-hand side, you will get a quick preview. You can click ‘play’ to see what all the transitions look like. For tweaks, you can:

Change the text on each slide.
Reorder the slides by dragging and dropping.
Replace images by searching the stock library or uploading your own.
Adjust formatting, fonts, background color, text color, and primary color.
Change the audio track.

Once satisfied, click on "Generate" to finalize the video. You can share it in a couple of ways:

Download it as an MP4.
Export it to a HubSpot landing page with a custom domain, where you can embed the video and include a lead capture form.

From there, you can move your video to social media, YouTube, or embed it in your website. Creating video doesn’t have to be a chore with Clip Creator.
