InVideo vs Canva? Which is Better for Editing

Entertainment

Introduction

In today's article, we will be comparing two video editors, InVideo and Canva, to determine which is better for specific tasks.

First, let's dive into InVideo. I recently put together a project using it, and, to be honest, I feel InVideo is not user-friendly. Here is one of the projects I created. Using the ever-so-famous text-to-video AI tool, which is currently a trending feature, allows you to create videos from scripts or articles. You paste the text into the tool, and it breaks it up by paragraphs before generating a video based on the content. My script focused on cars and supercars, but the resulting video was not relevant. Most of the generated footage was generic and repetitive.

From my experience, InVideo is disappointing and not something I would use again. It does specialize in AI text-to-video generation, but when compared to another tool like Pictory, it falls short. Let me show you an example using Pictory with the same script about fast cars. Pictory generated a much more relevant and engaging video. This indicates that Pictory is a superior tool for AI text-to-video generation.

If your goal is general video editing, Canva is a better option. Canva is not only known for its versatile design tools but also comes with a robust video editor. You can search for elements, photos, and videos within Canva, especially if you're a pro member, making it easy to compile and edit videos.

In conclusion, between InVideo and Canva, I would choose Canva for general video editing. As for AI-driven text-to-video creation, Pictory outperforms InVideo.

Hopefully, this comparison helps you decide between InVideo and Canva. Let me know what you're struggling with in the comments, and consider subscribing to my channel for more insights on video editing tools.
