Introduction

In this article, I wanted to share some exciting news about various 3D AI tools that might not be on your radar yet. These tools can significantly enhance the 3D animation workflow, and I'm eager to introduce them to you, especially since I'm in the process of developing some AI tools of my own, which has kept me away from posting videos over the past four to five months.

Just a couple of days ago, I released a video showcasing how I used Meshy AI to create 3D models, retexture them, fix textures, add animations, and bring the project into Blender and After Effects. Hyper Human offers several tools, notably Rodan, a 3D model creator that uses text prompts to generate models. It stands as a competitor to other models like CSM and Meshy AI. I'm looking forward to exploring its capabilities, particularly its topology.

Additionally, Hyper Human features Chat Avatar, which allows you to create and rig metahuman-style faces based on images or text prompts. This interactive process refines the prompt through a chat interface, resulting in impressive 3D faces that can be downloaded in various formats, including Metahuman or Daz 3D models.

2. Tripo 3D

Tripo 3D is another intriguing platform where you can generate 3D models using text prompts and images. The tool allows users to see previous generations, providing a visual reference for model building.

3. CG Trader and TurboSquid

CG Trader recently launched the CG Dream platform, enabling users to create both AI-generated images and 3D models. TurboSquid is collaborating with Nvidia and Shutterstock on an AI 3D generator, with early access offered through a waitlist.

4. Rapor

Rapor is focused on character facial animation driven by AI. Their system allows for the creation of custom avatars that can be animated and utilized in various ways.
