Introduction

Are you looking for the best free video editing software that offers features like trimming, splitting, arranging clips, and other capabilities such as adding text, captions, transitions, overlays, or background music? Well, you’re in the right place because today we’re talking about CapCut.

I just want to clarify that I do not work for CapCut, and this is not a sponsored article. I've used many free video editing software over the years, and I find CapCut to be the most useful. It has almost everything you could possibly need to get started with video editing.

The most significant advantage of CapCut for me is that it can be used on mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and PCs, and they all work perfectly. You can even upload your project to the cloud, access it from your phone, and continue editing on your computer by downloading it from the cloud. The convenience built into this feature is immense and I use it all the time. I want to show you how powerful this free tool is.

Getting Started with CapCut

The first step is to go to capcut.com or search for it on Google. You can also find the app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once you download it, a shortcut will appear. Launch it to start CapCut, which I have conveniently opened for you now.
