Customizable Printable Envelopes

These are editable, printable envelopes that you can fully customize. I’ve made a Canva template that you can edit and reuse. This process might take a little effort initially, but once the template is created, it’s reusable like any digital product.

Steps in Canva

We’ll begin with the Canva template. This number 10 envelope template, available in Canva, is 100% editable. You can change the text, images, and any other details. Let’s dive into Canva and see how to customize it.

1. Changing Text:

   • You can easily edit text by selecting the text box and typing.
   • If the font changes or jumps, you can adjust the line spacing under the 'Spacing' option.
   • You can also change the font style and color by selecting the text and choosing from the options available.

2. Changing Images:

   • The images are also customizable. If you don’t like the current image, you can delete it, go to 'Elements,' and add any image you prefer.
   • You can even change the color of certain SVG images.

3. Downloading the Template:

   • Download your edited template as a PNG with a transparent background if you’re using Canva Pro.

Printing Using Silhouette Studio

I use Silhouette Studio for printing because it allows me to manipulate the print settings easily.

1. Setting Up in Silhouette Studio:

   • Open Silhouette Studio and set your media size to 8.5 by 11 in landscape.
   • Go to 'Print Page Setup' and select 'Envelope Number 10' to match your printer’s settings.

2. Fixing Print Border:

   • Ensuring the print border is correctly set is crucial.
   • Go to 'Preferences' in your printer settings and check the relevant box to fix the print border.

3. Placement and Printing:

   • Position your design within the print border to avoid any cut-off.
   • Insert your envelope into the printer with the flap on the left side.
