LET'S PLAN CONTENT FOR THE WEEK (tiktok schedule + ideas + strategy)
Howto & Style
Introduction
Welcome to my channel! Today, we're diving into planning a week's worth of content primarily for TikTok, but we'll also touch a bit on YouTube and Instagram. It's the perfect day to get organized because I'm about to film a video that I’ll post tomorrow. This feels like my first real weekend as a dedicated content creator—I'm posting, I’m engaged, and I'm loving it.
Goals for the Week
I have two main goals for this week:
- I want to infuse more of my personality into my TikTok content. I'm tired of looking drained in the morning videos—reviewing them, I realize I seem so lifeless! So, it’s time for a change.
- I aim for at least one video this week to surpass 100,000 views. Admittedly, I understand that I can’t control the number of views a video gets, but I believe in myself. Even if I don’t hit that goal, I’ll be okay! Remember, if you’re scared to fail, you’re scared to succeed.
Planning Process
To kick things off, I’ll jot down some ideas in my Notes app. This week, I want to focus on the following video concepts:
- Take Pictures with Me: I adore making these videos. They’re fun and serve dual purposes for both TikTok and Instagram.
- PR Unboxing: I should be receiving a few packages, and I plan to unbox them while discussing brands that collaborate with nano and micro influencers—this will be a YouTube feature.
- Outfit Videos: Incorporating more outfit-related content into my TikTok. An "Outfit of the Day" video is on my list.
- How I Edit My Pictures: I want to create a video showcasing how I edit my images for a vintage look.
- YouTube Promotional Content: I aim to introduce a series of videos to draw more eyes to my YouTube channel.
Daily Breakdown
Here’s how I’m planning my content day by day:
- Saturday (16th): Film a Halloween video plus a “Take Car Pictures With Me” video.
- Sunday (17th): Post a nail video and potentially an extra video.
- Monday (18th): Post an outfit video and another Halloween-themed video.
- Tuesday (19th): Create a heatless curls video.
- Wednesday (20th): Record a behind-the-scenes YouTube video.
- Thursday (21st): Post a PR unboxing video while discussing working with brands collaborating with nano and micro influencers.
- Friday (22nd): Share a “How I Edit My Pictures” video.
Social Media Strategy
I want to clarify my strategies across platforms.
- Instagram: I envision my account as cool and fun, with relatable stories and Reels.
- YouTube: My goal is to be open and share my life—friend adventures, travel plans, and perhaps dates—although we can keep it theoretical for now.
- TikTok: I aim to focus on teaching and sharing behind-the-scenes content.
Feeling accomplished, I have outlined my content plan and just finished filming a YouTube video! Even if this video garners only five views, I’m proud of myself for consistently posting. It's about aligning with what I want, and that’s what truly counts.
I’m excited to take you along this journey as I craft my online presence. Let’s keep pushing forward together!
