Make Your Images Talk with Canva!

Howto & Style

Introduction

Welcome back to the channel, creative enthusiasts! I’m Rachel, and today we're diving into something truly magical. Have you ever thought about how static images could come alive, speak, and tell their own stories? Well, you’re in luck! In this article, I will guide you through the process of transforming your still images into captivating storytellers using Canva.

Whether you are a content creator, a business owner, or just someone who enjoys working with visuals, this trick is sure to amaze you. Imagine turning a simple headshot—like mine—into a chatty character or giving life to your product photos. It’s like adding a dash of pixel magic to your visuals!

Getting Started

To begin, we’ll choose a video template. First, head to the Canva interface and search for LAM Studio in the apps. Select the first option that comes up and click on Open. This will bring up the LAM Studio interface where you can access various templates and the upload section.

Uploading Your Image

Let’s explore the templates available, but for this tutorial, we will focus on uploading our own image. Click on Upload Video and select the PNG file you want to animate. Once it’s uploaded, the next step is to either enter text or upload audio for your image.

Adding Text and Audio

For our demonstration, let’s upload an audio file; however, we will be entering text instead. Paste your desired text into the provided section, and then proceed to select a voice that suits your style. LAM Studio offers various voices, and for this project, I will choose the English South Africa voice.

Next, click the Review Audio option and preview it before generating your lip-sync video. Once it finishes generating, you can paste it onto the page and set it as the background.

Final Touches

To preview your generated video, just hit play. You’ll hear something like: “Hi, my name is Rachel. Join me as I share what I'm learning about digital tools. Let's grow together!” However, there is a watermark that may need to be removed by upgrading your account. But don’t worry—I have a quick workaround for that!

Just go to Elements, select a shape, and then match its color with your background using the color picker. Drag the shape to cover the watermark.

And just like that, you have created a talking image! If you found this article valuable, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel for more creative tutorials. Thank you for reading, and have a wonderful day!
