Introduction

Hi everyone, it's Anastasia Custom! Today, we are diving into the creative process of customizing a doll inspired by the film Avatar. Two years ago, I made my first avatar doll, and it's still one of my favorite projects. I'm excited to showcase how my work has evolved since then.

In this customization, I'm planning several changes compared to my original doll. I aim to sculpt the ears higher up on the head, add a tail, sculpt the nose, and cut off one finger on each hand to reflect the Na'vi characteristics. Ideally, I should also remove one toe, but due to the hardness of the material, I think it might not be a good idea.

I'm starting with the same base as before—a Monster High doll, which I'll modify to achieve the Na'vi look.

Now that the base of the doll is finished, I am really happy with the results! To showcase the effects of phosphorescent light, I had to capture a video on my phone, as the camera could not properly register the lights.

Next, I’ll show you photos of the first avatar doll I made four years ago, so you can compare the evolution of my work.

Keep in mind that this doll is not entirely finished. I still have to create the hair, the outfit, and the accessories. We’ll explore these sections in the second part of the video, which I hope to release before the end of the year.
