If you're seeking the best method to train your AI chatbot for your business or your client's businesses, you've found it. My name is Ryan, and I'm with Chatbot Builder AI. Today, I'll demonstrate how to utilize our brand-new Knowledge Base Builder tool. Let's get into it!
Getting Started
First things first, head over to Chatbot Builder. Either sign up or log in. Once you've created your account or signed in, you'll be brought to the analytics page. From here, navigate straight to the Build Knowledgebase tab. This is a brand-new feature designed to be mobile-friendly, so you can build chatbots on your smartphone on the go—this is really, really cool!
Setting Up
Business Information: Begin by entering your business name and outlining your goals. For instance, our goal is to answer questions from potential customers about our products and plans and to generate new leads. We'll achieve this by asking users for their name and email address and identifying whether they are current or potential customers.
Tone of Voice: Choose your desired tone of voice, such as friendly and professional.
Output Length: Select your desired output length in lines. In this demonstration, we're choosing a maximum of three lines.
Sitemap Extraction
Next, we move on to the sitemap extractor.
Input your domain and click Extract Site Content. You'll see a loading indicator, and then the sitemap will appear, allowing you to select all links or just a few, such as Integrations, Pricing, and Reviews.
Click Extract Selected Links, and the system will populate content from these pages, excluding all code. It will include only the human-readable text.
Enhancing Content
What sets this tool apart is the Enhanced Prompt button. By clicking this, we use GPT-4 to improve our homepage text to better fit our knowledge base without altering the content's accuracy. This transformation adds phrases like "As the helpful AI assistant" to the business name.
Once the enhancement is complete, click Add to Prompt for each page, such as the homepage, about page, integrations, pricing, and reviews.
Finalizing the Knowledge Base
In the final prompt section, the information from the chatbot configuration menu will automatically appear. This includes:
- Brand or business name
- Chatbot goals
- Tone of voice
- Desired output length
- Content from each selected page
We also recommend enabling the option to include the links in your final prompt. This allows the bot to provide links directly to users' inquiries.
Copy the final prompt and paste it into the provided playground for testing. Ask sample questions like, "How much is it per month?" or "Do you have an Enterprise plan?" to see the responses.
Configuring Settings
- Copy the final prompt and navigate to the Settings section of your account.
- Add the prompt to the Open AI section.
- Leave other settings as default (e.g., GPT 4.0 mini).
- Enable Auto GPT and Automatic Voice Response using the Nova option.
- Click Save.
Testing
After setup, test the chatbot with inquiries, such as, "Can you please explain your pricing plans?" The bot will provide detailed and accurate responses, trying to collect user data when necessary.
