Film & Animation

Introduction

We've partnered with our friends at Xbox to bring you exclusive Minecraft-themed content, designed to elevate your gaming channel. In this article, we will walk you through how to utilize Clipchamp's new Minecraft-themed gaming templates and stickers.

Getting Started

Logging In

Begin by logging into your Clipchamp account or signing up for free. Once logged in, you will be taken to the Clipchamp editor.

Accessing Minecraft Templates

  1. Navigate to the Templates Tab: On the left toolbar, click on the "Templates" tab.
  2. Find the Minecraft Collection: Scroll down until you locate the Minecraft template collection. This collection features a variety of matching Minecraft-themed intro and outro templates.
  3. Choose a Template: Hover over a template to preview it. You'll see whether it’s an intro or outro based on the title. When you find one you’d like to use, click on the green plus button to add it to your timeline.

Editing the Template

The templates come with preset transitions, effects, stickers, and music, so minimal changes are needed—primarily, you’ll just need to update the text.

  1. Change the Channel Name:

    • In the timeline, click on the top text bar; it will highlight in green.
    • Navigate to the main stage and click the “Edit Text” button to enter your channel name.
    • Repeat the same process for the second text bar.
  2. Adjust Text Size and Placement:

    • Hold the Shift key while selecting both text bars in the timeline to resize and move them simultaneously.
    • Drag the corners to make the text bigger or smaller and position it as desired.

Creating a Matching Outro

To use the outro template:

  1. Create a new video project or add the outro template to the current project by following the same process in the templates tab.

Exporting Your Video

Once you’re happy with your Minecraft template:

  • Click the "Export" button at the top, select your preferred video quality, and once completed, a copy will automatically save to your device. You also have the option to upload your video directly through one of Clipchamp’s integrations.

Adding Minecraft Stickers

  1. Import Your Video:

    • Click the “Import Media” button to select your asset.
    • Alternatively, use the Xbox integration to import media.
  2. Access Minecraft Stickers:

    • With your video in the timeline, go to the "Content Library" tab.
    • Click the dropdown arrow in the visuals tab and select "Stickers."
    • Locate the Minecraft stickers collection.
  3. Incorporate Stickers:

    • Drag and drop your chosen sticker onto the timeline, layering it over your video.
    • Resize and reposition the sticker as desired.
    • For stickers to appear throughout the entire video, extend the sticker asset’s duration to match the length of your video clip.
  4. Adding More Stickers: Repeat the process to add more stickers, adjusting the size and duration as needed.

Final Export

After you’ve completed the edits and are satisfied with your video, export it by following the same steps mentioned earlier.

Now you’re all set to use the new Minecraft-themed gaming templates and stickers in Clipchamp!
