PHY Z SPIRIT BOMB CAN BE GOATED AGAIN!! Just 1 slight problem... (Dokkan Battle)

Introduction

Recently, I wrapped up recording the GT Duo showcase and shifted my focus to the Z Spirit Bomb, similar to the previous characters. Just like my last experience, I have them at two dupes; however, I don’t have an extra dupe ready to go. We’ll be exploring how they perform with these two dupes while aiming for good rotations.

One notable aspect to keep in mind is the clash between Gamma's standby and the Z Spirit Bomb's showcase. It’s crucial to activate Gamma's standby as soon as possible to maximize efficiency. Luckily, Bulma's support should come into play effectively, ensuring we remain in a fine position.

When facing Futan, his damage intake should amount to double digits. With 80% damage reduction and type advantage, he'll handle himself well. On the other hand, while Bulma might take some damage, the presence of seven key spheres for her will provide a double super and 7% damage reduction, making her relatively safe as well.

After checking, I confirmed that Future Gohan is indeed part of the ‘All Struggle’ category, which clears up some confusion regarding Super Saiyan Trio support. After slotting the Super Saiyan Trio in, we ensured the Gammas collected enough key spheres. This setup means that while the Gammas may be vulnerable, they should still handle normal attacks with ease and only risk significant damage with a super.

The Z Spirit Bomb needs to deliver its super attack early to effectively build defense and activate its active skill. Unfortunately, the rotations have not favored me thus far. My main concern is that if we don’t manage to get early super attacks, we might struggle in harder phases of combat.

When I eventually managed to get the Z Spirit Bomb up front, their defense clocked in at around 350,000. However, the lack of stacking till this point resulted in me being slightly vulnerable. Though I risked having the Super Saiyan Trio take the lead, I needed to gamble on this turn, as they too need to build up.

Each round consistently saw me wishing for a super attack to arrive, and when it did, I realized how crucial it was. Gamma could tank the incoming threat effectively, but losing here meant we’d have to reset our strategy entirely. Multiple attempts had me caught without the correct rotations, and it grew a tad frustrating, extending the recording time with little result.

Finally, on one of these turns, we achieved a moderately favorable rotation. While Super Saiyan Trio still faced a challenge with types, we safely navigated through normals and faced minimal threat from every attack. Eventually, the super hit, and it became immediately clear we were in a precarious situation.

In terms of damage mitigation, Bulma proved essential. While I can credit some decent defensive stats to Gammas, I still found myself questioning the overall effectiveness of Z Spirit Bomb under pressure. The reality of consistently matching good rotations began to loom large over our progress.

The performance metrics I gathered showed promise with almost 800,000 HP as a result of a thoughtful build—half additional and half dodge. While dodging super attacks helped us survive, the Z Spirit Bomb's role in the late game began to shine through.

Post-super activations revealed higher defense levels, even leading to 17 million attack stats—undeniably impressive despite initial setbacks. This rotation finally opened the door for us to see effective damage storage, showcasing the potential hidden within Z Spirit Bomb that may need just the right synergy with team builds.

However, one major drawback remains clear: the overlapping standbys among players could complicate further engagements, especially with several key characters being standbys. For the time being, these synergies will require a careful approach to maximize the vessel’s potential without succumbing to overlapping abilities in gameplay.

To wrap it all up, despite the challenges and evident clashes in rotations, the Z Spirit Bomb demonstrated significant resilience and performance capabilities. I look forward to pushing these units in the future as we aim to discover their potential in different invasions.
