REVIVING The BEST Survivor Build...

Gaming

Introduction

In today's video, we are bringing back an old AG perk that once stood at the very top of the Dead by Daylight (DBD) meta: the perk called "Made for This." The beloved perk has seen several changes over the years, and I'll be diving deep into how it currently fares in the game.

The Evolution of "Made for This"

Initially, "Made for This" provided a 3% haste bonus for merely being injured. However, this was nerfed by the developers, making it so that players had to be in the "mend" state to activate the speed buff. Essentially, this meant taking a hit from skills like "Dead Hard" or "Off the Record."

Current Build and Gameplay

I equipped the perks Off the Record and Dead Hard for this build, along with Made for This and Hope to deliver maximum effectiveness. My primary strategy was to get hooked early in the game and then use "Dead Hard" or "Off the Record" to trigger the "mend" state.

Despite being constantly chased by the Dredge, I managed to use the map effectively, dodging his attacks and utilizing pallets effectively. Incorporating Hope into the build gives an additional 10% haste in the endgame, allowing for even faster escapes.

Although "Made for This" now has a considerably lower pick rate, it still shines when played correctly, especially when combined with other haste-increasing perks. By leveraging "Made for This" alongside "Hope," it felt reminiscent of its former glory.

Perk Analysis Over the Years

Historically, "Made for This" once boasted a 25-30% pick rate but has now dwindled to around 2-3%. Today, using the combination of "Off the Record," "Dead Hard," "Hope," and "Made for This" can still provide significant value, although its usage requires more strategizing.

Gameplay Scenarios

Facing Against Dredge

When facing the Dredge, I utilized the pallets to enhance my speed. I remained focused on evading his attacks and managed to capitalize on the perk's mechanics with minimal error.

Against The Knight

I realized that having Dead Hard and using it against the Knight's guards helped in maintaining the "mend" state.

Thrilling Encounters

From narrowly escaping a highly volatile Vea to outwitting a lethal Huntress, each encounter had my adrenaline pumping. The speed and haste offered by the perks drastically altered the gameplay, making for exciting, edge-of-your-seat moments.
