Introduction

Hello again, everyone, and welcome back to our channel! You might be surprised because in today's video, I won't be your host. Instead, let’s meet our competitors: Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, and Bixby, as they compete in a race to determine which voice assistant provides the best and most accurate responses.

The Race Begins

We posed 45 serious questions and a couple of fun ones to our voice assistants. For each serious question, the assistants received one point if their response was accurate. It’s important to note that Alexa doesn't always display answers but sometimes prefers to say them out loud.

Let's dive into our first question!

• What is the time?
• Set an alarm for 8 AM tomorrow morning.
• Delete the alarm for 8 AM.
• How was the weather?
• How was the weather tomorrow?
• Open up Instagram, please.
• Show me Rihanna on Instagram.
• The Pixel can identify specific Instagram accounts even when the username differs from the real name.

Next, we had several more commands:

• Turn on dark mode.
• Turn off dark mode.
• Uninstall YouTube.
• Open the store.
• Download Twitter.

Fun Questions

Then, we moved onto some fun questions:

• Hey Google, when is your birthday?

  • “It's hard to tell because I update so often, so feel free to wish me a happy birthday whenever you like.”

• Hey Alexa, when is your birthday?

  • “It's November 6th, just like Emma Stone.”

• Hey Siri, when is your birthday?

  • “It's October 4th, counting the first day on the job as my birthday.”

• Hey Bixby, when is your birthday?

  • “I've never thought about that. Let's celebrate today!”

Image Requests and Commands

We continued with image requests:

• Show me a photo of Cristiano Ronaldo.
• Show me a photo of Lionel Messi.

Bixby shined here, as it was the only assistant able to show our website.

We attempted additional tasks such as:

• Turn on the camera.
• Take a photo.
• Take a selfie.

The assistants also handled some technical commands:

• Turn on Bluetooth.
• Turn off Bluetooth.
• Lower brightness to 0 percent.
• Set the brightness to 63 percent.
• Increase brightness to maximum.

We also gave them navigation tasks:

• Open Maps please.
• How do I get to Paris?
• How long does it take to fly to New York?

Jokes and Final Results

Finally, we requested jokes from each assistant:

• Hey Google, tell me a joke.

  • “How do you make a tissue dance? Put a little boogie in it.”

• Hey Alexa, tell me a joke.

  • “What do you call the annual ball for ghosts? A pair of formal activity.”

• Hey Siri, tell me a joke.

  • “Why shouldn't you play poker at the zoo? Too many cheetahs!”

• Hey Bixby, tell me a joke.

  • “A pair of Nike shoes entered a singing contest; they called themselves just duet.”

In the end, the race couldn’t have been closer! Bixby managed to snag the top spot, while Google Assistant followed closely in second place. Siri came in third, and Alexa rounded out the group in fourth. We hope you enjoyed our funny yet informative questions!
