Hello and welcome to this week’s SE fre Tech video! Today, I’m excited to share my experience with a new challenge that I embarked on—a two-week journey of testing the TikTok algorithm with a freshly created account named "Teck Tock Tips and Tricks."

The Challenge Begins

Yesterday, I set off on this adventure with the goal of uploading daily content to see how many followers and likes I could accumulate. The strategy behind this endeavor is to explore the viral potential of TikTok and to document the journey. By the time you’re reading this, it means the results were encouraging!

Day 1: Starting Strong

On the first day, I shared videos showcasing my new gaming setup for just $ 100 and a popular viral trend video, “How to Set Up Your Work Online.” By the end of Day 1, I managed to gather 16 followers— a promising start!

Day 2: Gaining Momentum

On Day 2, my follower count increased to 27. I uploaded a video asking my audience for their opinions on some lights for my wall, which surprisingly gained 802 views! Clearly, engaging with the audience is key.

Day 3: Continued Growth

By the end of Day 3, I had achieved a total of 49 followers and 69 likes. I was motivated to keep it going, preparing to film my next tech tip - Day 3!

Day 4: Escalating Success

At the end of Day 4, my follower count rose to 71 with 87 likes. Interestingly, my most viewed video continued to be the "Tech Tip Day 2." I was also in the process of upgrading my setup by adding some RGB lights, so I asked for suggestions on their placement.

Day 5: Milestone Achieved

Apologies for not updating on Day 5, but I was out and wrapped up the day with a whopping 200 followers! Excitedly, I updated my bio to reflect my goal achievements.

Day 6: A New High

Though I lost track of the days, I wrapped up my week-long journey with 320 followers, surpassing even my initial account's popularity! There was still room for growth as I had a week and a day left in my challenge.

The Final Countdown

I realized I hadn’t updated you all since last Friday, and to my surprise, the final count ended at 998 followers when I wrapped up my efforts. With the return to school and a busy schedule, I could see why I failed to upload as consistently.

Conclusion

Despite my challenges, ending the experiment so close to 1,000 followers was surreal! I appreciate everyone who engaged with my content throughout this challenge.
