If you don't have time to watch big podcasts, no problem! Subscribe to this channel. I'll keep posting the best snippets from my podcast in short clips so you can gain a lot of knowledge in a short time.
Let's start. I've noticed this many times: many students make a common mistake. For example, if a person is into tech, they're too focused on tech. I have a student deeply into cloud computing, doing things I can't even recall. He’s genuinely a great guy and keeps creating content but doesn’t get views. Despite making high-quality content, it doesn't get traction because it serves a very small niche.
The issue is that if you are starting wide, creating content that appeals to a broader audience, it can serve you better. Use hooks that appeal to a wider audience. For instance, instead of saying "To become rich, do this," which is too broad, you might say, "If you want to earn Rs 5 lakh, do this," making it more specific but still appealing to a wide audience.
There are templates that work well:
Starting with a Question: Begin with a question relevant to many people. For example, "How do I get clients?" or "Not getting clients? Do this!" Starting negatively can sometimes hook viewers.
Pattern Interrupt: Do something unexpected to grab attention, like suddenly setting a bag on fire or something similarly shocking.
Analyzing videos, whether from other creators or your own, is essential. If a video went viral, understand why. Is it random? No, there’s often a science behind it.
Here’s an example: I reposted a video that initially got 15,000 views, significantly viral for me. Posting it a second time after a few weeks, it performed similarly well. This repetition demonstrates that good content will consistently do well, even if it doesn’t always reach millions of views.
Timing also plays a critical role. Content that doesn’t perform well initially can do so later when reposted.
