Veed.io

When it comes to adding text, clipart, logos, or pictures to your videos, Veed.io is my go-to website. Whether you're working with an MP4 file you recorded yourself or one you found on YouTube, Veed.io simplifies the process. Below, I'll guide you through the steps to add elements to a video file using this tool.

First, head over to Veed.io and create a free account. This is what I've done, and I absolutely love it. Once you've logged in, you'll see your dashboard with previous projects. To start a new project, click on the pink rectangle labeled "New Project."

For this tutorial, I’ll use an MP4 file I previously converted, called "animated clouds." Click "Upload" and navigate to the file on your computer (probably in your Downloads folder). Once the file is uploaded, you’ll see a toolbar on the side with options like Text, Subtitles, Elements (shapes), Filters, and Audio. For this example, I'll add clipart and text.

Start by adding an image. I have the "You School" logo in my library. You can stretch and position the logo as you like. Next, let's add some text. Click "Add Text" and type in your message in the pink box that appears. For this example, I'll add: "Welcome Class! School year is 2021-2022!"

You can customize the text style by choosing from different fonts. I prefer "Permanent Marker," which resembles something you'd write on a whiteboard. Adjust the text size and color to suit your needs; for me, black works best.

After customizing your text, preview the video to see how it looks. Veed.io also offers the option to change the audio if you like. Once you're satisfied, you can save the project by renaming it.

To download your project, go to your list of projects where your work is automatically saved. You can then download the file in different formats, such as MP4 or GIF. Sharing options for Facebook, Twitter, and Gmail are also available, but for most video projects, you'll need the MP4 file.

And that's it! You've successfully added animation, logos, and text to a moving MP4 video file using Veed.io.
