Video Creator Review | Not Sponsored

I recently got my hands on Video Creator, a brand-new platform that has everyone buzzing online. As always, I paid for the commercial license with my own money and am here to give you my honest thoughts about it. Let's dive in and explore what Video Creator offers.

Initial Impressions

When you first log into Video Creator, you'll be greeted by the interface, which features Mr. Paul Panna, the creator of this product and many others. Paul is quite a well-known name in the digital marketing world, having become a whiz at just 16 years old.

But we don't need to dwell on him; let's move on to what the platform truly offers. You can create videos using a plethora of templates, categorized conveniently on the left side of the screen. Templates include video flip books, live-action videos, neon signs, and more.

Template Variety

One of the first things I noticed was the availability of Facebook cover videos. While there are 10 different templates for this, other platforms like Breakout Clips and Create Studio offer similar, if not better, templates.

There are also motion-tracking videos. One template gives a preview with a built-in voiceover and music, which users can customize by adding their text and possibly a new audio file. However, customization options are somewhat limited.

I uploaded a voiceover using another app I favor, Takia, and adjusted the text and background images. The font library is extensive, which is great, but several basic fonts like Century Gothic are missing.

Customization Challenges

The customization process allows you to adjust colors using hex codes, RGB codes, or a color wheel. However, previewing animations takes a significant amount of time—over a minute in some cases—which can be a huge drawback.

Under the "Marketing Commercials" section, I chose a video agency template, but again, found limited customization options. The process is complicated due to the lack of customizability and the specific nature of the templates.

Rendering Time

Rendering these videos takes an agonizingly long amount of time. One instance took almost 11 minutes. The final result often includes elements that are difficult to customize, such as text colors or specific features that make templates feel too narrow in utility.

Conclusion and Final Thoughts

Overall, the interface and visual elements of Video Creator are quite appealing. The font options are diverse, even though some crucial ones are missing. The templates, however, are highly specialized and offer limited customization, making them less versatile.

Additionally, the unexpected upsell to Video Creator Deluxe—which costs an additional $ 67—feels somewhat deceptive.

Based on these issues, I can't recommend Video Creator. The render times, limited customization, and narrow applicability of templates make it less useful than other platforms. For better options, I recommend InVideo for live-action templates, Create Studio for 3D animation, and Doodly for whiteboard videos.

Thank you for reading my review. I'm sorry this one was a miss, but I hope it saves you some time and money.
