Hello everyone! Welcome back to my YouTube channel. Today is Ganesh Chaturthi, a day filled with joy and devotion, and I’m excited to share my experience with you all. I started my day early, taking a warm bath and adorning a simple kurta that my mother passed down to me. Feeling fresh after washing my hair and putting on light makeup, I set out to prepare Prasad for the festivities.

This year, I decided to make traditional modaks rather than the usual gram flour laddus. With the ghee running low, I asked Udit to grab some and the eco-friendly Ganesh deity I ordered online. Since we won't be able to visit the marketplace this year due to transportation issues, I’m glad to have opted for an eco-friendly idol that is easy to immerse at home.

Once Udit returned, we quickly got to work on the preparations. I started by dry roasting a bowl of gram flour, adding ghee, sugar, and dry fruits accordingly. Cooking for the first time, I learned the importance of balancing water to avoid hard laddus. After getting everything ready, we made some round laddus and got our Ganesh idol looking festive with some vibrant colors.

The puja was heartfelt, with a little mishap involving a hot lamp, but we carried on. Then, we cooked a simple meal of roti and bottle gourd and relaxed a bit in the evening. The next morning was again filled with preparations and a little care for my skin since I’ve been focusing on minimalism in my skincare routine.

As the day progressed, we made our way to Phoenix Mall for some shopping, and I reveled in the beauty of the bustling atmosphere. Udit and I enjoyed a delicious lunch in the food court and later checked out some home décor, although I found many items overpriced. We ended our trip with a visit to the bookstore, albeit without any solid purchases.

Waking each morning, I find it important to start with gratitude. Following my morning routine filled with prayers and yoga, I remind myself of the energy it brings me throughout the day. As I share this, I have a few new products from a brand named Maintain, aimed at improving my hair care routine. I’m eager to try them out and will keep you updated on how they perform.
